Student Exchange 2018 Kanepi-Werther

In 2018 was our student exchange between Kanepi and Werther. I think it was a good experience to make this exchange because I’ve never done a student exchange before. It was better than I expected because my exchange student and his family were very nice to me and they take care of me. But I think the weather was too cold for us, because in Germany it isn’t so cold like in Kanepi (Estonia). The activities that we made outside weren’t so good for me because the snow was too much, but I think it was a good experience to see a country, in which the weather isn’t so good. To sum up I’ve learned very much about the culture in Estonia and the life of Estonian people.

The school is very nice, because there are very kind teachers and students. They talked to us like we were their friends.

The excursion to Tallinn was one of the best parts in our exchange, because it’s the capital city and it is much bigger than Kanepi. In Tallinn we were in a orchestra, which was amazing. The little “Party” in the culture house was very funny and good too, because of the Estonian dances and the music, which was played by a DJ of the 10 th Grade, I think.

All in one the exchange with Kanepi was very surprising, because it was more better than I thought. For example our Volleyball game against Kanepi, it was very exciting and funny, because we all didn’t know, which team will be win.

Before I saw my exchange family I was very nervous and exciting, because I don’t know how they react to me , but it is a good and nice family, so they wait for me excited.
