Germany 6.12.2017-13.12.2017

On December 6th we arrived in Germany. Our exchange students waited us in local school in Werther. We had a little snack in school, then I went home with my exchange student.

My exchange student’s name was Rieke. He lived with her mother, father and brother. They also had a dog. She lived close to school. Only few minutes away. After arriving we ate a bit and talked about me and about Estonia.

First day in Germany was a school day. We participated in school lessons. Meanwhile, we also had an opportunity to eat pizza. It was really good, but I can say that pizza in Italy is much better .After school lessons we went back to home. In the evening we went in the restaurant. Some other exchange students were also there.

Next day we went to Münster. It was a small city near Werther. We saw a city with a guide. She told us a bit about the city and info about most important monuments. After the tour we had an opportunity to buy something from Christmas market and also from the store.

On the third day, we had to do something with our exchange families. In Saturday we went in Bielefeld’s shopping centre to buy some clothes and other stuff. In Sunday some students went to our place to cook some gingerbread.

On Monday we went to Wolfsburg. We had a tour in Wolkswagen factory. After we visited some shopping centres.

Tuesday was our last day in Germany. We went again to Bielefeld. This time we saw a zoo. There were different kind of animals like bears, lynxes, owls. Then we visited some shops there. In the evening we went in the church to listen a Christmas concert. It was really beautiful. Almost every student in school played a music instrument.

On Wednesday we said goodbye to our exchange students. We drove to Paderborn and went on a plane that landed in Frankfurt. Then we flew to Tallinn, and then drove back to Kanepi.
