Germany  6.12.2017-13.12.2017

On the 6th December we arrived in the Werther school. We met with our Germany students and went to the cafeteria to have a litte snack. Then I went home with my exchange student.

Her name is Anne and she lived with her mother. They had a litte apartement and I slept in the same room as Anne. Her mother worked as a teacher and they lived nearby the school. Their home was very lovely. We drank tea and ate cake while we got to know each other. 

On the 7th December we went to the school lessons. Anne had Spanish class first and then was Germany. The lessons lasted 90 minutes and they had a litte 5 minute break between. In the third lesson they talked about families. Arter that we went to the cafeteria and ate pizza. The German students stayed in school and we went to the Werther church and discovered some old houses in Werther. Then I went to Anne’s place and then her piano teacher came. 

On Friday we went to Münster. It was very interesting to see so many bikes everywhere. After the tour we visited some christmas markets. Later that night me,  Merili, Karl-Kevin, Sandra, Marge and some others went to have dinner with our students.

On Saturday the same students went to Bielefeld to visit a shopping center. Estonian and German students shopped separetly. Arter that we went to Vapiano and we ate our lunch. After eating me and Anne’s family went to Anne’s grandmother’s place. There were Anne’s relatives. We played a game called Skip-bo and I won the first game. It was very fun. 

On Sunday, the same Estonian students and German students who were at at the shopping center, we went to a girl’s place and made cookies there. That day was very snowy. We went outside and played snowfight. It was very fun.

On Monday we went to Wolfsburg. There we had a tour in Wolkswagen factory. Then we visited different museums.

On Tuesday we went to animal park nearby Bielefeld. There were white owls, solves, bears, lynxs and ohter animals. It was very lovely and the animals were very cute. Arter that we walked to Bielefeld. There w ehad free time and we went shopping again. When I arrived me and Anne made cookies. The cookies were very fun to make and the cookies tasted very good. Later that night we went to church concert. It was very beautiful and it was interesting to liste how they sang in Estonian. I really liked the concert..

On Wednesday we made pictures outside the school and said goodbye to our exchange students. We drove to Paderborn and we went on a plane that landed in Frankfurt and then we flew to Tallinn. Then we drove to Kanepi.

It was a very good expirience to me and I hope I can go to Germany again. Anne and Anne’s family were very lovely and sweet. There were differences and it’s good to learn things what people do in ohter country. I had a very good experience to visit Germany and go to ohter school and to see how they work in school.
